Bridges - Lidwala has been involved in the design of several large bridges which include the Masibekela-Sibange Bridge over the Komati River in Mpumalanga and the Clau-Clau River Bridge.
Bridge Management Systems (BMS) - Lidwala has successfully completed numerous BMS condition surveys in South Africa. Lidwala recently secured an operational agreement for the Mpumalanga BMS as part of the integrated Road Asset Management System project.

Scope of Services: Rehabilitation Design and Supervision
Completion: December 2013
The proposed rehabilitation action in the road includes the following:
• Widening of the existing roadway by providing 3m wide surfaced shoulders on both sides of the road
• Geometric upgrading of all intersections
• In-situ reconstruction of the existing base and sub base layers.
• The In-situ layers will be stabilized with BSM Foam Bitumen (To TG2)
• Surfacing the new base with an A-E2 modified asphalt with rolled in chippings to add structural strenght
