QUALIFICATION:             

Project Management – Advanced Tertiary Programme;

Tertiary Qualification (Engineering beneficial, but not required);

Business Management Qualification

 

REGISTRATION:               

Required – with registered Project Management institution e.g. PMI, SACPCMP or other

 

KNOWLEDGE:

Type:

o   Built Environment;

o   Project Management;

 

Financial Knowledge:

o    Understanding of the financial aspects related to multiple project portfolios in order to ensure accurate reporting to stakeholders.

 

Financial Interpretation:

o   Interpretation of financial documents to inform decision makers regarding project risk management, project feasibility and project plans and delivery

 

Technical Knowledge:

o   Project Management;

o   Understanding of work processes, standards and legislation within the built environment,

o   Development of human capital in the Department Legal and contractual

o   Risk Management

 

System Processes/Knowledge:

o   Quality Management Systems (QMS)

 

Administration:

o   Report writing

o   Human Resources Processes

o   Record Keeping

o   Financial Administration

 

Computer:

o   Advanced MS Office and MS Projects.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • To ensure the establishment, maintenance and compliance of Project Management processes and standards in the Company
  • To report on project portfolio status and performance (risk, cost and schedule )
  • Implement and Maintain a Quality Management System (LMS)
  • To fulfil the role of the central repository thereby ensuring that the company project portfolio is monitored and controlled
  • Department HC Management
